Presented a proposal of a Linux prototype for the Spanish Education initiative
At the Gran Canaria Desktop Summit Isotrol, a company providing services to the Andalusian Education Ministry, has announced a prototype of software and hardware based on the experience on Guadalinex Edu that is being deployed in Andalusia named Edu 2.0.
This is a proposal for the implementation of the Spanish President Zapatero revolutionary announcement of deployment of 2 million laptops in Education. There has been a big controversy about which operating systems it would include. The difference here is the Junta of Andalusia deployment will be based on Guadalinex Edu.
The Andalusian Information Society strategy is complemented with the Guadalinex project, aimed to citizen users.

Finally we can put an end to all this retarded Boycott Novell anti-mono FUD, however to comply properly we on the Fedora side may need to split out the WinForms, ADO.NET and ASP.NET, then ship those in rpmfusion instead as they are not covered by ECMA and thus not by the the community promise.
Good news, and thank you to Novell and Microsoft for working this out, erasing doubt and showing good faith. I am very happy today.
